  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For flavoring the beef
  • 1 pre-made pizza crust pizza dough Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded For topping the pizza
  • 1 cup additional cheese, optional Cheddar or provolone for extra flavor
  • 1 cup vegetables (mushrooms, peppers), sautéed Optional topping, sauté before adding
  • 1 tbsp Italian herbs For seasoning the beef
  • 1 tbsp bbq sauce, optional For a BBQ flavor variation

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. In a nonstick skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat with chopped onion and minced garlic until fully cooked.
  3. Season the beef with Italian herbs, mixing well.
  4. If using vegetables like mushrooms or peppers, sauté them in a separate pan to remove excess moisture.
Assembly
  1. Roll out the pizza dough to desired thickness.
  2. Layer mozzarella cheese on the crust, followed by the cooked ground beef and any optional veggies.
  3. Add more cheese on top for a gooey finish.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

Notes

For best results, let the pizza cool before storing leftovers. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Pre-baking the crust may help avoid sogginess if heavily loaded with toppings.
