- Check for doneness; the chicken should be fully cooked and tender.
- Shred the chicken using two forks if desired.

- If desired, mix cornstarch with a bit of water to create a slurry and add it to the sauce to thicken.

Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave or on a skillet.
