Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup mayonnaise Use regular or vegan mayo.
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar For tanginess.
  • 1 tablespoon sugar Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard Optional, enhances flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed Optional for additional flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and celery seed.
  2. Whisk together until smooth and well combined.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning to your preference.
Serving
  1. Pour dressing over shredded cabbage (homemade or store-bought) in a large bowl.
  2. Toss gently to coat all the cabbage evenly with the dressing.
  3. Allow to sit in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving for the flavors to meld.

Notes

Store leftovers in a jar in the fridge for up to a week. Give it a quick stir before using as separation is normal.
