Ingredients
  

For the Tea
  • 6 cups water For brewing the tea.
  • 4 bags black tea bags Do not use herbal or green tea.
For the Peach Syrup
  • 2-3 pieces ripe peaches Peeled and cut into pieces.
  • 0.5 cups sugar Adjust according to sweetness preference.
  • splash water To help cook down the peach mixture.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil six cups of water in a saucepan.
  2. Once boiling, add four black tea bags and turn off the heat. Allow to steep for at least ten minutes.
  3. In another saucepan, combine peeled and cut peaches, half a cup of sugar, and a splash of water. Cook until peaches become syrupy and soft.
  4. Mash the peach mixture with the back of a spoon if desired, then strain to keep out chunks.
  5. Combine the strained peach syrup into the brewed tea and stir well.
  6. Let the mixture cool and then refrigerate until well chilled.
Serving
  1. Serve peach iced tea over ice in a glass.
  2. Garnish with fresh peach slices or mint if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider garnishing with lemon slices or a lavender sprig. Adjust sweetness to taste and enjoy within three days for best flavor.
